EULEN
Prof. Dr. Meyer is a member of the Jean Monnet Network on enforcement of EU Law (EULEN). Within this network, researchers from Universiteit Utrecht, Université du Luxembourg, Universidad de Castilla - La Mancha, Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Uniwersytet Warszawski, Universidad de la Iglesia de Deusto Entidad Religiosa, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, King's College London, and Heidelberg University examine the different models for implementing EU law in competition and banking law, financial protection issues and migration policy from an analytical, legitimacy-oriented, and in particular cross-sectoral perspective. The network aims to foster a better, cross-sectoral understanding, to identify which mechanisms and organisational forms are applied, and whether and how they are effective. From a legal perspective, the focus is on keeping these new forms of enforcement within the bounds of the rule of law and human rights.
