Juristische Fakultät The Faculty's partners of international cooperation and associated programs

The Faculty of Law of Ruperto Carola University of Heidelberg is part of a comprehensive network of international academic cooperation in research, teaching and studying. Some specific cooperation projects go beyond what already those structures make possible, which are located centrally at the University for several faculties and fields of expertise. International academic guest researchers advance scientific and academic projects in Heidelberg - academics from The Faculty of Law in Heidelberg visit places around the globe in order to learn for their research project and teach abroad.

Since 2023 there has been a close cooperation between the Faculty of Law of Ruperto Carola University of Heidelberg and Adam-Mickiewicz-University in Poznań, one of the leading universities of the Republic of Poland. This takes place within the framework of a bilateral partnership between the two universities including an ERASMUS-agreement. This partnership enables students to study at a university rich of tradition and to live within the historical city of Poznań. Besides this, the cooperation comprizes mutual research projects as well as visits and stays for research and teaching which includes doctoral students, those who pursue research goals and teach preparing the German habilitation (examination necessary for becoming professor) in law, and professors at the respective partner university.

The Faculty of Law cooperates with the National University of Taiwan in Taipeh. Student exchanges are offered. For students from Heidelberg two exchange positions per year for a stay - for one semester or one year - are available. Should you be interested, please contact Professor Dr. Hanno Kube, LL.M.
