The vice dean for matters of teaching and studying (Studiendekan) presides the Commission for Matters of Teaching and Studying (Studienkommission) and is in charge of all matters that are associated with teaching and studying conditions. As member of the Board of Dean, Vice Dean and Vice Dean for Matters of Teaching and Studying (Dekanat) she or he, respectively, is also called »Prodekanin« oder »Prodekan« (vice dean).
