At the Faculty of Law, there are no regular university exams for domestic students at the end of the semester. In coordination with the respective professor/lecturer, you can however take an exam at the end of the semester. Whether this will be a written or an oral exam will be at the discretion of the teacher. Please contact the professor/lecturer regarding your exam. To do so click on the professor/lecturer in the online course catalogue heiCO or get in contact via the chair (directly the professor by e-mail or the secretary by phone). Please see the contact details on the website “Professuren und Lehrende" of the Faculty of Law.

Should the information on the website of the online course catalogue heiCo be incomplete or inconsistent, please contact the professor/lecturer or the “Prüfungsamt” of the Faculty of Law.

NO RETaKE EXAMS

ECTS credits will only be awarded after successfully passing the exam. Generally, there are no retake exams offered at the Law Faculty. In case of a failed exam, it is up to the professor/lecturer  whether they wish to offer a retake.

In case you need a certain number of ECTS credits for your home university, it is advisable to arrange additional exams in a selected course and/or attend further courses!
